•• Misc ••
• Now Fontmacros are global stored. This means, if you make a new fontmacro within one Box you can also use it from other Boxes. Old Fontmacros can't be used any longer - you must reenter them manually (sorry).
• Instead of using the "Users Parameter" Dialog Alice automatically reopens the "Summary" window if it was open before the Box was closed.
• Messages could be set as "Read" or "Unread". Choose the appropriate Command from menu "Messages". The Command works on the actual message within the Read window or the selected message within the Summary window, depending which window is in front.
To change all messages within one area press the "Option" key while choosing the command.
WARNING: these Commands can't be "Undo"ne by a single command. To restore the old status you must toogle the message "Read"/"Unread" state by hand (choosing the commands above).
• "ZipIt" is supported for unpacking ZIP-pakets. This means, if "ZipIt" is launched from Alice it will automatically begin to extract and quit if finished. Now you can use "ZipIt" as a full replace for "UnZip 1.0c2".
Tell Alice to use "ZipIt" as your "depacker" within the box parameters. Be sure that Alice "open"s the pakets (instead of "printing" them).
•• Changes within XRS / Fidonet boxes ••
• Alice now supports FTSC 035 gateway informations when replying into a different network. Fidonet "Klugdeline" informations (no matter if they were displayed or not) are placed in front of your message body.
At the moment it is not possible to store such gateway informations within the adressbook (2nd sorry) - this means, if you enter a "new message" or use an adress from the adressbook it may be NOT reach it destination within an another network.
SOLUTION: alway "Reply" into the other networks. Let each receiver send you a netmail. "Lock" this mail to protect it from being "Purged" or "Cleared" (T2 boxtype). To write a new netmail, "Reply" on these locked messages to ensure Alice will use the correct gateway informations.
•• Changes within QWK boxes ••
• it is possible to use ORIGINS !
• Alice always tries to remember all areanames (in a file called "List of Areas"). This is neccessary because some mailboxes only transfer those names of areas which have actually mail. Alice first uses the normal list of areas from the mailbox and then adds all missing areas from its own list. In case of conflicts it will use the new informations from the mailbox.
